In the summer months in particular, Velden am Wörthersee is a captivating and exclusive spa resort and hotspot for party animals, with a wide choice of sports and entertainment on offer.
Thanks to a number of events and a selection of high-quality restaurants and hotels, the town enjoys a good reputation as Carinthia’s society and party venue. The Casino Velden also contributes to this with an extensive and varied calendar of events. An imposing eye catcher in the Bay of Velden is the exclusive Schlosshotel Velden, a revitalised historical 19th century building with modern architectural highlights.
