Atmospheric Advent

The Carinthian Advent offers many opportunities for getting in the mood for the festive period such us “Advent above the clouds” at the Pyramidenkogel, the circular Advent trail on the Katschberg far away from kitsch and commerce, or Velden am Wörthersee, known as the town of the angels, which has an extensive children’s programme. At the Advent markets in Villach and Klagenfurt am Wörthersee you will find handicrafts from Carinthia, while the culinary treats and atmospheric concerts also cast their spell over visitors. The mountain Advent in Bad Kleinkirchheim is very popular with the locals and holiday visitors alike.
