And with the “Nockart” hiking paths there are a further six routes which highlight the special features of the cultural landscape.
Relaxed cyclists, E-Bike riders, racing cyclists and mountain bikers will also get their full money’s worth. Real “Nockbikers” can set off to storm the summits with a view of the lake, and at the end of their tour they can enjoy the regional Alps-Adriatic cuisine in one of the many traditional places to eat.
For golf fans there is also an 18-hole golf course in Bad Kleinkirchheim.
In winter Bad Kleinkirchheim is THE destination for skiers. In the World Cup location which became well-known amongst other things thanks to the “Emperor” Franz Klammer, winter sports lovers can look forward to more than 100 kilometres of well-prepared pistes, 23 mountain lodges and 25 lifts, which take skiers and snowboarders quickly and conveniently up the mountain. On selected dates, they can even meet up to “Ski before 9” with the Olympic downhill champion.
A visit to the two spas – Römerbad and St. Kathrein – is the perfect way to round your sporting programme off, in both summer and in winter.
