Lavanttal
In winter, the Koralpe, Klippitztörl and Weinebene ski areas, reaching altitudes of up to 2000 m above sea level, transform the Lavanttal into the "ski school of Carinthia". The 80 kilometres of pistes are ideal for beginners and those returning to skiing. And there are not just leisurely downhill runs on the snow-sure slopes, but also speedy FIS courses and snow parks for snowboarders. Away from the pistes, snowshoe hikes, ski tours on avalanche-safe slopes and tobogganing ensure variety and fun. Top Tip: Cross-country skiing on the Hebalm.
