Villacher Alpenstraße

Villach Alpine Road

The Villach Alpine Road is 16 km long and offers a great view to Carinthia’s beautiful landscape from its several viewpoints.

You’ll be captured by the beautiful world of lakes. Higher situated viewpoints offer a free view to the southern mountains. Children will love the two adventure playgrounds (refuge Aichingerhütte and parking lot 11).

Tips: Aichinger Lodge exhibition: "Bird life in the Dobratsch Nature Park" with Nature Park information office.
